Some people in the modification scene these days have chosen to become single tuner fanatics. There are the Brabus fanatics, Hamann fanatics, AMG fanatics, Rieger fanatics, and many more. They usually ended up buying the entire parts list of their tuner’s catalogue; making sure that every single, small detail is not to be left out. They’ll even search for the parts at the end corners of the world if they have to; just to make their builds complete. Wira from New Dimension used to be one of them, pooling all possible parts from the AMG catalogue to build his beloved W202 C-Class. But then he started to become unfaithful. Read along.

Becoming single tuner fanatics can often be very satisfactory, but can also be too easy. What would you do if you already have all the possible parts from the catalogue? What’s so unique about your car anymore if it looks just like the one in the catalogue? Isn’t it going to lack the personality, the reflection of your identity? What’s next if you already have it all?

Wira used to have all the parts from an AMG catalogue for his W202. However, as he thought that AMG tuned W202 has became too mainstream and ‘played’, he started to make eyes at Wald, the Japanese Mercedes Benz tuner. His love for Wald then started to be reflected across the exteriors of his ride. Wald body kits, wheels, emblems have been applied to this W202, while the other AMG parts have still been retained.

The current state of his car is not the end of the story. It is still under his continual upgrades; it’s been an ongoing project for past three years and yet still going to be continued in the upcoming years. He has a huge surprise for us that’s going to be done to this car. Stay tuned!
