Behold, the not-so-mini MINI: the Countryman. Deemed as MINI’s answer to those seeking a larger cabin yet retaining all the typical MINI perks and excitements, the Countryman is the MINI SUV. Built to be taller, larger, roomier than the standard Cooper, the Countryman has been designed to properly carry five adults with ample cargo space. What I have today, however, is the not-so-Countryman Countryman. It’s been fitted with wheels so large and slammed so low that it has become one of those serious form-over-function headturner.
Alpina wheels. Yes, I’ve never thought that the BMW-focused company does make MINI-fitment wheels. However, upon a quick visit to their website, turns out they do have MINI offerings available. Perhaps because MINI is owned by BMW nowadays?
Installed by Permaisuri in size 20″x8-9, this set of Classics have been fitted so tightly on the aggressively lowered MINI that it has resulted in a very unique looking combo.
