MOTOR Stancelovers Day Out // Photo Coverage

More and more we are seeing the Indonesian car culture shifting away from its “contest-is-everything” image. Casual meets. Friendly competitions. Outdoor laid back events are becoming more popular these days, especially ever since we stirred things up with the GENESIS car show earlier this year. On July 21st 2013, MOTOR magazine also held a casual gathering for stancelovers at The Royale Springhill Residences called Stancelovers Day Out. From early evening to late at night, the event was filled with more than one hundred acrophobic rides, mostly running static setup on these wonderful streets we have.

Kasih’s Altezza sitting neatly on a set of Work Meisters. A tried-and-true combination.

An Accord Euro. Surely among the rarer cars at the meet.

The number of participants exceeded MOTOR’s expectations. From 70 registrants to having more than 100 comers.

Despite the Stancelovers event name, we saw quite a variety of rides turning up. Such as this Civic on TE’s.

Abdee’s purple Jazz. As clean as always. I wonder when his new wheels setup will be installed though. Should be just around the corner.

Haven’t seen this one too often. An SUV that’s obviously been dialed to maximum low.

Andrian’s E32 looking great with those Nardi BBS.

Iwan’s frozen grey E46. Real paint. Real power underneath that bonnet.

Nagib’s Civic is definitely among the nicest stanced FD’s in town.

BTX’s VIP Jazz now wearing what seems to be a minty blue color.

Three of the most famous stance rides in town.

Flat black meets very very aggressively fitted wheels. Not something we see so often on an Indonesian owned A4.

Kenji’s Fiesta was among the firsts wearing the minty color everyone seems to be loving these days.

Stunning. Never thought that such a combo would be so mesmerizing.

Donny’s aired out 3 Series Ci. He always come up with some of the most daring BMW builds.

I spot a GENESIS sticker! FYI the sheer number of participants attending without front license plates did attract the police’s attention that day. Some vehicles were stopped during the convoy due to this matter.

Another similar minty shade.
