As we were planning our Bangkok trip last June, we made a few appointments with both local communities and Indonesian car lovers who were residing there. Upon checking our Facebook likers and instagram followers for Thai fans, we bumped into Ian’s post of his car in instagram – the F30 you’re looking at today. Turns out he’s a fellow Indonesian, who is currently living in Bangkok. We immediately contacted him and upon our arrival in Thailand we scheduled a meet for photo shoot. With meeting point being Flush Style garage, Charles delightfully captured these shots right before we ventured into Bangkok’s night scene.

You can tell a person’s love for cars by his car-ownership history. Having previously owned cars ranging from MKIV GTI to an M3 while he was still residing in the US, Ian is definitely one of those car modders who knows exactly what he’s doing. Now that he has moved to Thailand, he decided to put his hands on the newly launched F30. Quite possibly the most aggressive-looking 3 Series to date, the F30 has proven itself to be a very seductive platform to be installed with aftermarket parts.

M Sport bumper, carbon mirror housings, VMR wheels, are among the aesthetic upgrades that Ian has installed to his car. Boosting up the F30’s sporty traits. Meanwhile on the performance sector, Ian relied on chip tuning and air flow upgrades, from aFe intake to custom exhaust. All these done to a car that’s still wearing its temporary license plates.
