Black Pearl // Audi A4 on BC Forged
Mystique, murky, fierce, often bold and cold. Black is the majesty of the dark. Making friends with shadows and hazes, black entities often go very much unnoticed. The Dark Knight opted for its all-black suit for a reason. To blend with its own shadows. To move swiftly unnoticed. To create that element of surprise. To be feared. The same goes to the A4 we are featuring today. Parked at night under trees or dark parking lots, this beast blends very well to its surroundings. Hiding its fierce bodylines and aggressive wheels; perhaps only to be noticed by its menacing exhaust sounds and DRL. Luckily Charles J did the photo shoot of this A4 during broad daylight, revealing every minute bits and details on the car.
I’ve always liked black-on-black looks on aggressively modified cars, and I believe the A4 is one of the best platforms out there to start with. It’s gotten the futuristic looking DRL and bodyline that, when coupled with aggressive black wheels, reminded me much of the Darth Vader. I like how the owner of the A4 decided not to murder out the chrome trims of the Audi. I like how he kept the rear lights and brakes bright red. These contrasts gave the car a very well balanced candy for the eyes. I’ve seen others who blackened their cars’ grilles, lights and all, to the point where 100% of a car is pitch black. It was definitely no good.
Carbon details affixed to the OEM S Line body complements the aggressive look in a great manner. Meanwhile, the 20″ BC Forged wheels have also been fitted very well underneath the A4’s fender arches.
Notice that the owner has even gotten himself the Black Ice Little Tree air freshener to keep up with the car’s theme.
