We are proud to introduce one of our GENESIS media partners: Majalah MOTOR. The 17-year-old magazine has been and, I believe, will always be one of the most respected and iconic in the industry. With its strong principles and high-expectancies towards the world of automotive modifications, MOTOR has managed to be the barometer in the industry. “If your ride is not good enough for MOTOR, then it’s simply not good enough,” as I often hear some says. Sharing similar views and principles towards automotive modifications, it’s a no brainer for hawk’n’poke to invite MOTOR (OTOMOTIF GROUP, Kompas Gramedia) in becoming our GENESIS media partner.

Having celebrated its 17th birthday last September 2012, Majalah MOTOR has always managed to keep on doing various innovations and surprises in the Indonesian automotive scene. With teams consisted of industry-experts and synergic departments, MOTOR has even been trusted and supported by large automotive manufacturers such as Toyota, Honda, etc.

Expanding from its magazine-based “bread and butter”, MOTOR internal experts have also been frequently invited to be the official judges in automotive modification contests. Yaris Show Off and Jazz Tuning Contest were two of the most recent ones.

With plentiful of experience and contacts in the world of aftermarket modifications, last September 2012 MOTOR has managed to invite Kent Suzuki (owner of ENKEI wheels) to attend the Indonesian ENKEI Enthusiast Gathering. It was a unique and innovative event gathering up all ENKEI Enthusiasts from all across Indonesia. From storytelling ENKEI history to answering fans’ questions, Mr Kent Suzuki did it all himself.

Being the barometer in the industry, MOTOR also regularly does coverages of international events. Flying off to US for SEMA and Japan for Tokyo Auto Salon are some of the routines that MOTOR reporters have been accustomed to.

Entering its 18th year in the industry, MOTOR promises to continue its innovations and keep on presenting its best surprises to its fans. Having successfully organized the Custom Scale Car Fest twice in 2012, MOTOR has planned to do this miniature car show more frequently in 2013. You can look forward to events such as Indoor Marathon, The 3rd Custom Scale Car Fest and Trip to Bangkok International Auto Salon for 2013. Expanding from off-air publications, MOTOR has also planned in amplfying its digital and social media existence, with events such as Digital Modification Contest and Online Rims Design Contest.
