naturally aspirated // an engine that produces a raw, unadultered, unaided power. It usually produces very good throttle response and very mean sounds.

Being naturally aspirated means that one won’t have to deal with turbo lags nor the complexity of bulky additional performance parts. Itulah jalur yang dipilih Franky dalam memaksimalkan performa dari Civic FD1-nya ini.

Berlandaskan prinsip naturally aspirated modifications, pada bagian engine Franky melakukan modifikasi utamanya melalui Porting and Polish yang didukung dengan Dastek unichip Q+. Porting and Polish merupakan modifikasi penting dalam naturally aspirated engines; dapat meningkatkan performa mesin melalui efisiensi volumetrik yang lebih baik.

Sejalur dengan fokus utama Franky untuk meningkatkan engine performa FD1-nya, bidang eksterior disentuh dengan functional track-ready parts. No large rims poking out of the fenders here. =p

Impul rims menjadi pilihan untuk sektor kaki-kaki. Ukuran 17″ yang dibalut dengan Toyo tires jelas menunjukkan bahwa function menjadi prioritas utama.

Agar Civic ini menjadi track-ready, Franky mengaplikasikan Bride seats, four-point rollbar

… serta OMP steering wheel dengan Sparco quick release pada bagian interior.

HKS indicators berbalut carbon pun dipilih untuk menampilkan berbagai real time crucial measurements. Carbon parts lainnya juga tersebar pada berbagai bagian interior Civic ini.

So, that was it hawk’n’pokers! A modification spec list would be best to describe this neatly done naturally aspirated Civic!
