Permaisuri Thursday // Range Rover Autobiography on DPE

The Range Rover. A British icon that’s been handled by the German (BMW 1994), the American (Ford 2000) and lately the Indian (Tata 2008) throughout the company’s history. British design. German technologies. American rigidity. Indian business model. All of these traits have shaped up the Range Rover that we know today, and along these ownerships we can also see the influences that each brand owner has on the production models. The Evoque, for example, was produced under Tata’s ownership and perfectly inline with their attempt in boosting up Range Rover sales. A great success.

What I have today, on the other hand, is the third generation Range Rover that was developed under BMW’s ownership. Large. Refined. Well-executed. This third generation was built upon BMW’s remarkable electronic systems and engines. The 7 Series of SUVs. And this Autobiography version submitted by Permaisuri today is the top-of-the-line model, one that came with a plethora of luxurious options installed.

The set of wheels installed by Permaisuri today is this set of 22″ DPE MT10 in satin black finish. A classy black on black look on this posh full-size SUV!
