Swiftalpina 01

Japanese Classy // Swift on Alpina

Another past victim of the JDM era is the Swift you’re looking at today. Daniel, the owner, used to pursue the JDM looks, and his passion for JDM stayed that way for the first 6 months of owning the car. Then came the offers made by several of his friends to change the look of his ride by installing this beautiful set of 17″ Alpina wheels. The JDM style might have experienced its peak popularity in these past few years, while it is definitely coming to an end these days. Closing in to its final resting place, the JDM style has managed to stick only on the hardcore fans, while others move on to the more current trend of stance and form>function.

Going from JDM to this simpler, classier style requires the removal of several racing parts from his ride. It is a decision that Daniel himself should have never regretted. Alpina is one of the few wheels that has withstood the gravity of time. It will never look old because it is truly a classic.

Apart from the wheels, the other exterior modifications of this Swift are fairly OEM+. Daniel opted for Swift GTS side skirts and rear lamps to sweeten the look of his ride.

When it comes to the interior, modifications are more emphasized. Plenty of audio parts from Venom has been installed, along with seats and door trim that are covered in MB Tech Camaro material.
