Our featured car this time represents a breakthrough in many ways. Why do we call it a breakthrough? Well, we’ll start off with a story about the wheels: ADV.1.
ADV.1 merupakan sebuah boutique-style wheels company yang didirikan oleh Jordan Swerdloff. Beliau merupakan seorang entrepreneur yang sudah banyak mengalami berbagai tantangan dan permasalahan dalam keterlibatannya di industri aftermarket wheels. Sebelum mendirikan ADV.1, beliau merupakan pendiri dari 360 Forged wheels. Sejarah beliau dalam 360 Forged sangatlah jauh dari sebuah good reputation. Jordan pada akhirnya lebih sering disebut sebagai ‘con man’ alias penipu! Mengapa? Karena pada saat beliau memutuskan untuk menjual dan meninggalkan perusahaan 360 Forged, perusahaan tersebut sedang dilanda berbagai financial and manufacturing problems. Begitu banyak pesanan yang sudah dibayar namun tidak dapat ia penuhi!
Namun, setelah beberapa waktu berlalu dan dengan belajar dari insiden tersebut, Jordan Swerdloff decided to clear his name and came back with a breakthrough: the ADV.1. This time, he is dedicated to making ADV.1 a trustworthy wheels company, focusing on excellent designs and customer service as top priorities! Hal ini sudah terbukti saat ini, dimana nama ADV.1 sudah dipercayai berbagai worldwide vendors dan juga dikenal customers sebagai sebuah brand yang sangat kental akan image upmarket dan eksklusifitasnya.
About the Cayman itself. Mobil milik Kevin ini memang tidak panjang modification specs-nya, but we do think that these nice pairs of wheels are all that it needs to attract attention. 😀 ADV.1 wheel yang dipilih Kevin merupakan tipe ADV7DC. DC merupakan singkatan dari Deep Concave, sebuah line up ADV.1 yang didesain secara khusus untuk memperoleh maksimum concave effect pada Porsche Cayman S ini.
